i was telling leila that having crushes feels like collecting ghosts and keeping them in little cages above your bed like that weird dude in ocarina of time lol

. . . because crushes are ghostly and vaporous by nature! they are hypothetical and intangible and honestly it’s usually better that way. once you reach behind the veil and bring a crush into reality, it often disintegrates in your hand. and then you wish you’d just let it alone to begin with. but maybe that’s just me~
