I leave for the US in the morning . . . I fly to Amsterdam and then on to DC. Elina and I had a Last Supper at the cafe across the street from my apartment, which she documented here. I was admiring her beer. It was a beautiful beer. Unfortunately I look disgusting next to it! (I have, thankfully, since shaved . . .)
Truthfully: I don’t really want to go! I like being home in Berlin. I’m only going because I want to see my friends and I’ve got to film some of them wherever they are . . . and then I don’t know what will happen to me after that. I reckon I will figure it out when it makes sense to. Hey, what else can you do . . .
Anyway: It’s three in the morning and I ought to sleep. I want to pass out on the long-haul flight from Amsterdam to DC, so I don’t want to get too much sleep tonight . . . but a little sleep is always better than no sleep. I need just enough to get through security.
If you are in the United States: I’m sorry about that and I’ll see you soon!
