elina’s mom calls her on monday. i call her on sunday. today when i called she was in the park playing uno with our friend cleo. (we love cleo even though she has catastrophically bad taste in men.) i told them amissa and i are going to film at venice beach today. cleo said, seemingly not realizing i could hear her: “does ryan’s family live in LA?” and elina said, “ryan doesn’t have a family. only bitches.” to which i replied: “. . . hey, those are my friends you’re talking about!!” lol
