
i was once famous for this . . .
basically: in order to avoid paying for a hotel, and usually arriving in a city very late at night, i would park near a cemetery and make a cozy bed in the back of a rental car and sleep inside my military sleeping bag. i’ve done this everywhere . . . los angeles, portland, burlington, and so on. this always horrified my parents and girlfriends. i have since retired from the Cemetery Car Hotel habit, but you know, every now and then, i can’t help myself . . .
