I was going through my computer and found this lone picture of my trip to LA with Monty and Laura and Gayle. Laura took this . . . that’s us sitting in Echo Park with Danielle on what I now know, many years later, was one of the best days of my life. I wish I’d known that at the time! But how could I have . . . ?

I miss Danielle so much. I wonder if I’ll ever see her again. And I wonder if Monty and Laura and Gayle and I will ever go on a trip together again like we used to . . . Of course, this was in 2018, which was a completely different world. That world is gone now, yet we remain, so I suppose anything is possible . . .
