When I made my first (of soon-to-be many) DUDES DONE WRONG video last week, I recruited Monty to speak Spanish, Nicole the Olivetti Girl to speak Italian, and Laura’s sister Helen to speak French . . . I thought it would make the scenes where I used them more mysterious / melancholy. I did not include subtitles for that reason.

If you are a unilingual dumbass like me, you may have not been able to understand what they were saying. Well! Here it is, if you’re into that sort of thing.

This is what Monty is saying in Spanish:

I had my beloved Canadians Julia, Sarah, and Will record their lines in (Canadian) English, and had my spirit sister Tracey read hers in her thick Australian accent.

Their lines: “Ryan, is that you?” and “Where were you, Ryan?” and “You let us die!” and “You promised to help us!” are a reference to one of my favorite movies . . . but I’m not gonna tell you which one. You’ll just have to guess!!

Anyway: thank you to everyone who watched it and told me as much.

The next video I’m working on is completely insane and includes more of these dream-like voiceovers. Perhaps I have written a plaintive monologue to be read in Ukrainian. Listen: there’s only way to find out . . . be there!
