Do yourself a favor and watch it! Or watch it again! It contains everything I love about movies in a single movie. Wow!

I can’t help it: I love a star-crossed lovers road trip movie, and this is the very best one.

Two summers ago I showed it to this Italian girl I knew, whom I had met on my half-birthday. We watched it in perfect silence, which is the only way to watch a movie. Afterwards we both teared up. She turned to me and said, “That’s the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life,” and I very nearly fell in love with her right then and there.
